WELLINGTON

It is with deep concern we have to record the death of Mrs. Featherston, wife of His Honor the Superintendent, who died this morning at 2 o’clock, after a protracted illness which was borne with exemplary patience and Christian fortitude. Mrs. Featherstou was held in high esteem and respect by all classes of the community for her amiable character and Christian virtues, and sure we are that all parties will unite in offering to His Honor their sincere sympathy for the heavy bereavement which he has sustained. — Spectator, March 16.
