THE UNDERSIGNED having purchased Mr. Robert Curtis’s Run at Mohaka, begs to intimate to those parties who have sheep depasturing on the said Eun on thirds that delivery will •be given to them, according to Mr. Curtis’ returns, till the 20th of March next, if required. IN PURSUANCE of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Provincial Elections Act, 1858,” I, John Curling, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of tho Town of Napier, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing dale the 18th day of March, 1863, issued under the hand of His Honor tho Superintendent of Hawke’s Bay, an election will be held for the return of ONE qualified person to serve ns a member of the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay for the said Electoral District in tho room of John Alexander Smith, Esquire, in consequence of his seat having been vacated by bis acceptance of a scat in tbc Executive Council of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate’s Court-house, at Noon, on Thursday, the 26th day of March, 1863, and that the Poll (ii necessary) will take place on Friday, the 27th day of March, 1863, and that I will declare the same at its close, at the said Court bouse.
