POSTSCRIPT.
“ Times ” Office, Monday morning. The Zillah, from Wellington, arrived on Saturday night, and the Sea Breeze, from the same port, came in yesterday. The schooner Queen also arrived yesterday from Auckland. The match between Sunrise and Toware, for <£so, was won by the former. We hear that the schooner Tere was totally wrecked at the mouth of the Wairoa. She was on a trip from the Mahia to the Wairoa, and by some means got aground at the point above stated. The Eliza also, with a number of sheep on board, was aground for two days, but the sheep were safely lauded, and she was got off. FIRE THIS MORNING. We are informed that the Victoria Hotel, Onepoto, was burnt to the ground early this morning. We have not yet heard the particulars. The building was insured.
