Business at the Spit this week has been uncommonly brisk, both as regards shipping and inland trade. We noticed nine drays heavily laden with merchandise and supplies on the road at one time, The business at the customs has also been heavy, a large amount of bonded goods having been cleared from the stores. May we have many such business weeks in future!
