ARRIVAL OF THE “QUEEN."

The s.s. Queen arrived here yesterday afternoon from Auckland. She reports speaking a vessel off the East. Cape with French colors flying, having communication with the shore,

and supposed to be landing contraband articles. Sir George Grey and General Cameron had left Auckland for Taranaki, but for what purpose was not known.
