Miss Eye lias arrived at Dunedin with female immigrants. The Daily Times of the 20th ult. says that the next escort .from the Lake Diggings will be about 28,000 ounces. Dunedin escort to be about 8000 ozs. An exciting contest for the Superintendency is anticipated between Major bichardson and Mr. J. H. Harris. Market fully supplied with fat cattle from Gipps Land. No decline in price expected from present rates (£ls to ,£l7 per head) light weights. Store cattle—mixed herds are saleable at £9 10s. to £ll 10s.
