AUCKLAND CATTLE MAKKET. The following is Messrs. Styak and Hunter’s report for the week ending the sth instant:—Fat Cattle : —There is no perceptible change in prices or demand, but the supplies were not so large as in former weeks. We sold bullocks at from £lO 10s. to £l4 15s. ; cows, £9 17s. 6d. to £l3. Fat Sheep and Lambs.—Are in good demand, and in proportion to quality fetched high prices. We quote sheep at from 235. Gd. to 365. 9d.; lambs, 21s. to 245. Gd. Dairy and Store Stock.—There were none of a high class brought forward, though for such good prices would be given. We sold Dairy Cows at from £ll 10s. to £l6 155.; Store Heifers, £9 10s. to £lO 425. Gd.; a lot of store steers, at £7 10s.; a lot of Store Calves, (mixed sexes) £4 7s. Gd. Store Sheep.—Are so meagrely supplied, and the quality so indifferent, that a quotation of prices would afford no real criterion of tlie state of a market in which there is no lack of demand. —New Zealander, Feb. 6.
