Mr. W. D. Barnard reports the- sale of seven imported young draught horses, at prices varying from £ls to £6l), averaging £56 10s each ; 19 imported saddle and harness mares and geldings, ex Zephyr , at prices varying from £lB to £l2, averaging £2B 5s each ; 3 draught horses, ex V/ild Wave, fetched £6O, £67, and £66 respectively ; 12 saddle and light harness horses, at prices varying from £2O to £35, averaging £26 each; 1 cow for £ll 10s ; 1 dog-cart, £SO. Harrows, ploughs, &c., realised fair prices. Young active draught stock still command high rates, the market being very bare. — Times, Oct. 29.
