penhagen, Mr, Syson’s Raw Bones, Mr. Bowman’s Ginger Beer, and Mr. Gilmour’s Lydia. At four o’clock there were about a hundred and fifty persons on the ground, and, after a false start or two, the horses got well off, with the exception of Lydia, who would not start; but there were soon wide gaps between them, Churton, taking the lead at the finish, and coming in an easy winner. The others came in in the order stated above. Time 1 minute, 59 seconds.
