Pedestriaxism. — W o have to record a very exciting race which took place last Monday, between two Privates of the 14th Regiment, Matthew Ceogban of No. 5 Company, and Thomas liarvoy, of No. o Company. Jhe race was for A's a-side, and the distance 150 yards, on the ground between Sergeant Scully s and Mr. Schley's public house. Harvey succeeded in taking the lead at starling by about two yards, but bis opponent succeeded in coming in a winner by about a yard. The time occupied in running was 17A seconds.
