To the Editor of the Hawke's Say Times. Sir, —Having had the honor of attending the farewell dinner given by the citizens of Auckland to Sir George Grey, on the eve of his departure from the Colony in 1853, I would beg to propose that the citizens of this Province will give a dinner on the evening of the same day of his arrival, at wdiich time many w'ould have better opportunity to express their opinions verbally.
