ELECTION NOTICE. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF WAIMARAMA. IN PURSE ANCE of the provisions of an Act of the G eneral Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “ The Provincial Elections Act, 1858,” I, Frederick John Tiffen, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waimarama, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the twenty-third day of December, 1861, issued under the hand of His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at Mr. E. S. Curling's Woolshed, Oero, on Friday, the 10th day of January, 1862 ; and that the Poll (if necessary) will bo taken on Tuesday, the 1-lth day of January, 1862, and the state of the Poll declared on Saturday, the 18th day of January, 1862.
