WELLINGTON.
Two sermons were preached by the Bishop of Wellington on Sundays, 22nd and 29tli ult. in aid the building fund of the now Church now erecting at Napier. The collectionat St. Paul’s, Thorndon° last Sunday week, amounted to about £ll, that atjSt. Peter s, lo Aro, last Sunday evening, was £o :7: 9. The Rev. Woodford St. Hill intended to have preached on behalf of the Napier Church but he arrived too late to preach at Thorndon on tlie first occasion, and was unable to do so at TcAro. being* obliged lo return to Rapier by the steamer, and the duty was performed by* the Bishop.
