HASTINGS TOURNAMENT CONCLUDES
The annual tournament of the Hastings Lawn Tennis Club was completed yesterday when the finals of the combined doubles championship and the handicap events were decided. Results were as follow: — Combined .championship .doubles. — Final: R. D. Sharpe and Miss Glenny beat W. H. Read and Miss Budd, 6 — 2, 6 — 1. HANDICAP EVENTS. Women's doubles. — Final: Misses I. and O. Glover beat Mrs Hall and Mrs Willcock, 8—7. Combined doubles.— R. D. Sharpe and Miss Glenny Beat W. Pasley and Mrs Hassall, 9 — 3. Hastings men's plate. — Final: J. Webber beat C. D. Graham, 6 — 2, 6 — 5. Hastings women's plate. — Final: Mrs G. Hall beat Miss C. Williams, 6—2, 6-3.
