VISITING BOWLERS

South Canterbury Players Arrive on Sunday A large party of touring bowlers from South Canterbury will arrive in Hastings on Sunday on their North Island tour. The party, which will contain about 30 bowlers, is to play the first match of the tour against the Hawke's Bay Bowling Centre at the •Port Club's green on Monday afternoon, and will leave on Tuesdays morning from Hastings for Gisborne. The tour will last about a fortnight. the tourists being scheduled for games at Napier, Gisborne, Opotiki, Tauranga, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Wellington, the last game being on January 15.
