WHERE THE CHAMPIONS ARE

Where champions are competing, there, invariably, the crowds will go. There will be champions a-plepty at the Ongaonga jubilee sports meeting on New Year's Day. Some of them ar* record-breakers also, and some are aimost certain to be competitors at tne British Empire Games to be held in Australia early next year. It is seidon* indeed that such an array of athletic talent is seen out at any one sport9 meeting. Ongaonga has been privileged in the past in securing some of thej best athletes in the Dominion at ita meetings, but next Saturday's meeting will be the best yet, and as a jubileo meeting it should secure a record attendance. A dance will be held in the Town Hall in the evening.
