NEW YEAR CRICKET
Two Hastings Junior Fixtures Two Hastings junior grade cricket ro* presentative teams will be participating in holiday fixtures during the coming New Year holiday period. One team meets the Palmerston North Combined Services eleven at Cornwall Park, Hastings, commencing at 10 o'clock on Saturday (New Year's Day), and the other team journeys to Napier to meet tbg) Napier junior representatives. v. Palmerston North Combined Services, at Cornwall Park: — J. Goodall, Bligh, Pattullo, McDowell, Sadler, Toothill, O'Neil, Christison (capt.), A. Carrington, Drinkrow, Pankhurst, Brimmer. Players are 'to bring their own gear. Any players not available are asked to ring the secretary, 'phone 2244, immediately. v. Napier juniors at Napier: — Campbell, J. Love, Trumper, Johnson (capt.), Arthur, McGregor, Whitehead, Maaka, S. Lowe, MacDonald, Wilcock, Binning. Players are to be at the Hastings bus office at 8.45 a.m. and bring their own gear. Any players not available are asked^to ring 'phone 2244 immediately.
