Woman's Death at Palmerston

PALMERSTON N„ Last Nigfit. Unfortunate circumstances surround the death in hospital on Tuesday of Mr# Elizabeth Bopn, a widow, aged 88. On Christmas afternoon, the ffggeased, after eating a piece of meat, cpmplainefi that a bone had stuck in her tfiroat. Her daughter tried various means to remove the obstruction" ano seemingly was suecessful, as thp deeeased felt easier. On Sunday night, however, she was not wej| apd a doctor was called on Monday morning. H® ordered her to the hospital for an Xray examination. The deceased. lapsed into unconsclousness and later died. An inqqest is pencling. :
