Dr. A. E. Panting, of Sydney, and, formerly of Wellington and Dunedin, 1 is on a visit to the Doininion, after an absence of 30 years. Captain C. S. J. Duff, R,N,Z.A., Fort Dorset, Wellington, with his wife leaves in the near future for the Staff College at Quetta, India, Captain and Mrs Duff will leave from Wellington. Mr R. H. Nimmo has been re-elect-ed president of the Wellington Young Men's Christian Asspciation for the seventh year in succession. Mr Nimmo joined the associatipn when he was 1'2 years of age, and has been an active member ever since. Mr and Mrs James Troy, late of the Commercial Hotel, Woodville, will leave in February on a two years' trip to the Old Country and Europe, andthey intend to spend some time in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France. Dr, Gordon Findlay, formerly of Dunedin, who has been taking a threeyear post-graduate course at the Editiburgh Royal Infirmary, returned hy the Jervis Bay, which arrived at Auckland yesterday. He will remain in Auckland for a brief stay before leaving for Wellington.
