Thirty fire-engines were engaged in dealing witlx the outbreak. A Press Association cable states that a watchman was burnt to death and 230,000 worth of stock, including 80,000 records, gramophorjes, radio and teleyision sets, was destroyed by a fire which gptted the premises of His Mastcr 's Voice Company in Oxford Street,
