Miss Marjorie Clark, Waipukurau, has returned liome after spending the holidays in Napier. Mr A. Holms, Wellington, spont the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr and Mrs A. C. Holms, Waipukurau. He has now returned to Wellington. Mr Pell, Hastings, is spending a week in Waipukurau as tlie guest of Mr II. G. Eeckin, Gaisford Terrace. Mr S. E. Esam, formerly of Waipukurau, and now of Fiji, is visiting Waipukurau, Mr and Mrs G. E. Stiles left Waipukurau yesterday to 'spend a holiday in Palmerston North. Miss G. Kane, Invercargill, who has been visiting relatives in Waipukurau, left yesterday for Hastings. Miss Winlove and Mrs Scruby have returned to Waipukurau after visiting Euatoria. Mr and Mrs J. Maffin and family, Euatoria, are the guests of Mrs Scruby, Waipukurau. Misses Phyllis Tappin, Betcy Keir, Molly Leamy and E. Eeynolds, who sat for the Teachers' Training College entrance examinations at Waipukurau, have obtained partial passes. Mr and Mrs W. H. Eathbone, Waipawa, are visiting Christchurch. Mr D. Frederickson, Waipukurau, leaves shortl * with Mrs Frederickson for Auckland, where he has obtained a position with Dominion Motors. Mr J. Wood, Wellington, is visiting his parents Mr and Mrs G, H. Wood, Waipukurau.
