TESTED RECIPE
CANADIAN CAKE. Ingredients: f cup dates, f cup cold water, 1 teaspoonful soda, 41b. butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 full cups flour, handful of chopped walnuts. Method: Soak the dates in the cold water with the soda added. Cream the butter and eugar, and eggs% dates and water, flour and nuts. Bake in a meat dish for three-quarters of an hour. (Mrs. A. D.
