BRIDE WEARS GOWN OF SATIN AND LACE

DUNSTALL— DOW Flowers in shados of pik decorated the Methodist Church, Hastings, last evening for the wedding of Aileen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Dow, McLean street, Hastings, and Ivan Edward, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Dunstall, Nelson Crescent, Napier. The Eev. R. B. Gosnell officiated at the ceremony, and Miss Napier played the wedding music. The dainty bri.de looked charming when she entered the church with her father. Her gown of off-white satin and finest cobweb lace was cut with a very long train with inset godet of lace. Insets of lace in the bodice were finished with little buttons at the back, and the long angel sleeves were also of lace. A spray of orange blossom was worn at the neck, and her long plain tulle veil was arranged with a halo of orange blossom, lent by a friend. A sheaf of Christmas lilies was carried. The bride was attended by a bridesmaid, Miss Winnie Dickson (Eketahuna), and a flowergirl, Christine Walker (Napier) The older maid wore lilac lace mounted on taffeta in a slightly deeper shade and cut in redingote style. The short sleeves were full on the shoulders and a scalloped collar finished the corsage. She wore a lilac headband and carried flowers m pink and lilac shades. The little flower girl wore a iong frock of lilac suede satin with full skirt gathered at the waist and short puffed sleeves. She had a lilac ribbon sash and headband and carried a posy of pink flowers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. E. Whitley (Napier). The wedding reception was held at the Rialto tearooms, where the guests were received by the bride 's parents. Mrs. A. S. Dow wore a frock of navy mariette with bolero coat very prettily trimmed with a fancy kilted frill. She wore a navy hat with pink flowers and carried a pink bouquet. Mrs. W. H. Dunstall, the Dridegroom's mother, wore a navy floral silk frock with a navy coat and hat and her bouquet was in autumn shades. When the bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon the bride travelled in a model ensemble of mustard matelasse with a brown pin stnpe. A sash of brown taffeta finished the frock and on the rever of the short coatee was a brown and fawn posy. She wore a brown straw halo hat with brown velvet follow-me-lad streamers and brown accessories. Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Dunstall will make their future fiome in Hamilton. Among the guests was the bridegroom 's grandmother, Mrs. Dunstall, senr., who wore a black and white ensemble and carried red flowers. '
