I In the Sheffield Shield match against I New South Wales Yictoria in the first I innings made 415 (Hassett 81, Pearson 9 31; O'Eeilly two for 136, O'Brien two I for 88, White three for 67). New South I Wales in the first innings have made I 74 for two wickets (Fingleton not out I 34). I At Adelaide in the Sheffield Shield | match against Queensland South Australia in the first innings made 429 for • eight wickets (Williams 34, Eobinson 49, Bradman 246, Waite not out 52). Braaman gave the holiday crowd a great exhibition of batting all round the wicket. He was finally caught out while trifling with the good bowling of Dixon. Bradm&n has now exceeded his 6000 ruils in Sheffield Shield cricket.
