Club Holds Annual Meeting

TAKAPAU, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Takapau Slieep Dog Trial Club was presided over by Mr W. J. Smifh. The report and | balance-sheet showed a succeasful year j with a profit of £14 on the year's worki ings. The following officers were elected j for the ensuing year: — Patron, Mr F. de Stacpoole; president, Mr W. J. Smith; vice-presidents, Mewsrs N. M. Paulsen, D. McLean, A. S. Aldrich, G. S. White, W. Hobson, H. Hobson, P. F. Wall, J. C. Campion, C. Smith N. Tilley, C. H. St. Hill, J. C. Rolleston, C. J. Smith and W. Cuthbertson; hon. secretary, Mr "V. Heyward; treasurer, Mr N. Tilley; .auditor, Mr A. S. Aldriph. The committee were re-elected with the following additions: Messrs J. Robertson, G. Bolton and T. McNeil; chief steward, Mr L. K. Manson; dog steward, Mr *W. Hobson; timekeepers, Messrs C. j. Campion and H. Hobson1; judge, Mr J. Gillespie; delegates, Messrs N. Tilley and W. J. Smith. IB was decided to apply for May 24, 25 and 26, 1938, as dat&a for the s^eep dog trials. Several recommendations were made to the committee' for "the smooth running of the trials. A vot® of thanks was accorded the retirxng officers for their past year's service.
