Man Severely Ii^ured : Woman Arrested

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Suffering from a seVereiy lacerated head and a depressed fracture of the skull allegedly caused by blows wtih »n axe, Kort Petersen was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Christmas Eve. The police took possession of the axe found in the house. The injured man was discovered in a semi-conscious condition in front of the next door l'esidenee holding his hands on his head, which whs streamiug .vith blood, and calling for assistance. The police immediately conducted mvestigations, resulting in the arrest of a woman oCCupant of the house.
