SANTA CLAUS PLAYED
. s Herr Hitlers Christmas LONDON, Dec. 26. The Munich correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says Herr Hitler's Christmas party at Berchtesgaden included Marshal von Blomberg, his daughter, Herr von Sehirach, and Faru Winifred Wagner. Herr Hitler played Santa Claus at a children's party and attended a candle-lighting ceremony in the Brown House. He ignited a single blue candle, signalling to Nazis throughout the world to light candles and turn their thoughts to the Fatherland. Broadcasting Christmas greetings to Germans abroad Herr Hess declared that Germany again possessed a feeling of peace and security. "There is no talk oi*war danger here," he said. "In fact we do not want war. We also know that the men and women of other nations do not desire war. The strongest guarantee of peace in Europe is the longing for freedom of the industrious and honest people of all chltUres ahd nations." %
