Pregentations to Doetors H, H. Barnett and W. D. PitzGerald were made jn Napier on behalf of the St. John Ambulance Brigade by Superintendent B, Mnnro, in recognition of the yalugerviee^ to the brigade by these medical men by giving instrnction, drill and work. The vaiue of that in. struetion had been provpd very many times,. and it was not possible to oyer estiroate what a boon it had beea i® many urgent cases. The presentations took the form of a set of military hair brnshes for Dr. Barnett and cut-glass jug and glasses for Pr. PitzGerald. Both recipients suitably replied.
