Mr and Mrs Allison, Waipukurau, are guesta of Dr. and Mrs Norris, Waipawa. The Rev. F. W. Robertson and Mrs Eobertson will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their arrival at Waipawa this Christmas. oeveral congregations in the widespread parish have marked the occasion by making a combined presentation. Mr J. A. Chambers auperintendent of the Waipukurau Yolunteer Fire Brigade, has been nominated for the position of vice-prosident of the U.F.B.A. This nomination, which was made at the brigade 's iinal meeting for the year, will come before a conference of U.F.B.A. officers early next year. The foreman of the brigade, Mr A. S. Annand, was nominated as viee-presi-dent of the Accident Assurance Branch of the U.F.B.A. Mr Annand was also re-elected foreman of the Waipukurau brigade and Mr W. Chappel was reelected secretary, Miss Amy Schroder and Miss D. Aldridge, of Waipukurau, leave on Christmas inorning on a motor tour to Waikaremoana, Gisborne and through the Bay of Plenty. Mr and Mrs I. W. N. Mackie and their two sons will spend the Christmas vacation at their beach cottage, Porangahau. Mr and Mrs J. C. MeLauchlan^ Miss Sheila and Mr R. McLauehlan,' Waipukurau, leave on Friday lor their farm in the Pelorus Sounds, where they will spend the holidays. Mr and Mrs P. F. Wall, and Misses Mary and Judy Wall, of Hatuma, will spend Christmas at their beach eottage, Porangahau.
