Lodge Meeting. At the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Forest Home Lodge, the Noble Grand. Bro. E. B. Pedersen, presided over a i'air attendance. Apologies for absence were received from V.G. Bro. Anderson and the P.N.G. Bro. Haycock. Si.ck pay and accounts amounting to approximately £1 were passed for payment. P.D.G.M. Bro. H. J. Newling reported arrangements already in hand for the forthcoming moonlight carnival. It was decided that it be held on February 17, in the Ormondville Domain. Moodlights have been arranged for. The Noble Grand wished members the compliments of the season. Eggs for the Homes. A large consigDraont of eggs was despatched from Ormondville to St. Eilda's Home at Otane, the result of the children 's service at the Anglican Church. A consignment which had been received from Makotuku was sent to St. Mary's Home at Napier. Funds for School Radio. A dance organised by the contractor and staff of the new school building in aid f the radio fund was held in the Waipawa Municipal Concert Hall last evening, there being a very good attendance of the dancing public. Excellent music was supplied by Mrs Meta, and a dainty supper was provided by Mrs Patterson. In all probability the staffi will make another elfort for the same purpose towards the end of January, when the contract is nearing completion.
