CHRISTMAS AT BRAEMORE HOME

Once again the approach of Christmas has proved a liappy period for the inmates of the Braemore Home at Havelock North, for yesterday afternoon, in the gaily decorated and delightful grounds, the old people. .held their annual party, and enjoyed the proceedings just as much as they did in the days of their youth. * A Christmas tree, fully laden with gifts for all, was placed in the shade of the trees, and with the weather on its best behaviour, the inmates Ijad a pleasant time, reeeiving the gifts which were clistributed by Mrs W. MeKenzie and "Aunt Gwen" of 2ZH. A dainty aftemoon tea was served, and the Christmas cake was cut by "TJncle W." Those who assisted with the function were heartily thanked by Matron Boyd, and an exchange of seasonal greetings concluded a happy afternoon.
