SUN-TANNED SKINS ARE OUT OF DATE

» With the arrival of the summer 's sun, the question of sun-bathing becomes important. It is now not quite as fashionable as it was to tan to a decp, dark coffee colour, and this should be comforting to all those poor females who are inclined to resemble boiled lobsters instead of South Sea Islanders after basking in the sun. Whether or not you decide to tan, there are plenty of beauty preparations to help you. If you want to stay natural and fair and look it (as a contrast to yonr darker skiuned sisters) there are creams to use which not only prevent sunburn, but relieve it as well. Use them under your ordinary make-up, and you will avoid all unpleasant redness and blistering. There is also a cream to prevent freckles which is waterproof, so you can use it while you bathe. If you want to look brown and well in the daytime, and fair and English in the evening, or viee versa, there are creams and lotions to give you a suntanned complexion which you can wash off at will. "Sun beige" is the name of the new summer niake-up evolved by a wellknown beauty specialist. This is a clear, golden tone, not very dark, and is suitable for both town and country.
