NAPIER ROTARIANS CLOSE 1937 SEASON

The Napier Eotary Club's luncheon yosterday was the last for the year 1937, and the club now goes into recess until January 24, 1938. Chief Eotarian E. W. Wallace presided over a large attendance pf members and visitors. Greetings were received from the Eotary Clab at Suva and a letter was also received from Sydney Eotary Club extending fraternal greetings and asking to be advised as soon as possible of any Kotarians who might be visiting Sydney in connection with ihe celebrations to be held there during the first i'our months of 1938. A welcome was extended to Eotarian P. Ashcroft, who has ,just retumed from a trip to the Old (Jountry, and who read a letter of greeting he had received from the Eotary Club at Clapkam. The guest list at yesterday's luncheon had more than a slight educational flavour. One of the chief guests was Scliool Inspeetor T. A. Morland, who was recently promoted to be Chief Inspeetor of Sckools and who was heartiiy congratulated upon his promotion.
