BRITISH BOWLERS
Party Arrives. in Hastings on Wednesday The touring British bowlers who are now in the South Island ,will arrive 'in Hastings by the mail train to-mor-row evening. The party which is composed of 19 bowlers and 16 ladies, will be welcomed at the station by the Mayor, Mr G. A. Maddison, and the president of the Hawke'6 Bay Centre, Mr W. Eoss. On Thursday morning the tourists will be taken for a motor drive through the district, and in the afternoon at 2 o'clock on the Hastings Club's green they will be officially welcomed by the Mayor and afterwards meet four rinks from the . Hawke's Biay Centre. > On Friday morning the visitors will leave for Rotorua.
