AUCKLAND, Last Night. The Kaiwhaka, a 9S-f'oot towboai, to be used at Wanganui for transpOrting frozen produce to overseas Vcssels outside the bar- was launched this mctuing from yards of W. G. Lowe and Son. Breaking a bottle of champagne acrOss the bow, Mns T. F. Eo\Ve christened the vessel, and the Kaiwhaka glided gracefully into the harbour, where she was taken in tow and made fast to a jetty for the installation of engiDes. At an informal function following the launching, Mr J. W. Bow, Waneanui works manager for the N*W Zealand Refrigerating Co., paid tribute to the efficient work of the builders.
