Prize-Giving Ceremony at St. Joseph's GREENMEADOWS FUNCTION The annual prize-giving ceremouy of St. Joseph'e Maori Girls' College took place in the college assembly room. The Kev. Father Riordan, S.M., presided, the Rev. Father Cullinane, S.M., being also present. The Rev. Father Riordan, addressing those present congratulated all on the various successes in school, sports and crafts attained during the year. Show three firsts, two seconds, two thirds and
one very highly commended awards were received for needlework. October 10 marked the seventieth anniversary of the opening of St. Joseph's College, the sisters having arrived in Kew Zealand from France two years earlier.
