WAIPAWA, Last Night. At the usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows. N.G. Bro. M. Fair presided over a good attendance of memvers. One new meinber was initiated into the lodge. A letter was received from the Loyal Dannevirke Lodge thanking Abbotsford for its congratulatory letter in connectiou with the winning of the Ritual Sliield competition. Christmas greetings were eonveyed to ihe lodge by P.D.G.M. 's, Bro. L. Stein (Dannevirke) and J. Milburn (Hastings). A report on the business transacted at the last meeting of the district management committee was before the lodge. As the next meeting of the lodge would fall on New Year's Eve, it was decided to allow it to lapse, authority being given for payment of sick pay.
