Supertax Beats Roi FOr

CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. At the Charity Benefit Trotting meeting at Addington Supertax beat Roi l'Or in a match ^race over a -mile and a-quarter. From a flying start Roi l'Or led for a mile, where Supertax raeed up to him, and, once in the straiglit, Supertax took the lead, and tuough Roi l'Or was under the wliip he could not reduce the gap, being beaten'by a length. The sectional times were: Tavo furlongs, 34 3-5secs.; half-mile, lmin. 7 2-5secs.; six furlongs, lmin. 39 l-5secs.; mile, 2min. 12secs.; and the mile and a-quarter in 2min 42secs.
