"Judging from some of the papers tliat were set for matriculation, some people scem to have forgotten that there was an epidemie at the beginning of the year," said Mr W. T. Foster, principal of the Napier Boys' High School, at the annual prize-giving ceremony. Mr Foster said that it had not been easy to cram the whole curriculum into the short year and he paid tribute to the staff for the wrok they had done.
