The hotel is a place where one finds really comfortable beds, excellent service, refreshing thermal baths, and picturesque scenery — all without stirring from the grounds. Mr Tom Heath, the proprietor, is well known, and at the Spa he has made tremendous improvements. Guests enjoy the beauty and comfort of the handsome carved Maori lountp which is sumptuously .furnished and well lit, making a delightful soeial rendezvous. A shady verandah at ohe end is available for afternoon tea partiea. A special smpke and card room with verandah is also available. Improvements to the thermal bath houses have been made, and free to guests are the Pink Bath and the famous Kathleen Bath. The grounds cover a large area and inelude unique thermal sights, including the world-famoas Crow's Nest Geyser, which is situated a few feet from. the edge of the private fishing reach, which with a small golf course is also free to guests.
