Mrs. and Miss Swain's Pupils at Waipawa

WAIPAWA, Last Night. A very large audience filled the Concert Hall last evening to witness the annual musie Tecital of the pupils of Mrs Swain and Miss D. Swain, L.I1 S.M. Amid bright flowers decorating the stage, the young performers acquitted themselves vry creditably, and with an enthusiasm which was shared by a very appreciative audience. During the evening the Mayor, Mr C. G. Harker, spoke upon the objects and beneflts of the health camp, and stressed the value of such eamps to the community in building up healthy future citizens. A colleetion was then taken, resulting in the very satisfaetory sum of £3 0/3. Mr Harker, as representative of tho Royal Schools of Music, asSisted in presenting the certificates and awards gained by examination candidates during the year.
