NAPIER RADIO STUDIOS

Probable Lease of Dalgety's Premises Last week information was received from the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., to the effect that studio and office premises for the new Hawke's Bay broadcasting station had been secured. Beyond the disclosure that the premises were in Napier, great secrecy has been observed in regard to the matter. However, from a hint dropped at the moutlily meeting of the Napier Secondary Education Board last evening, it is believed that the top floor of Dalgety's building has been selected. During a discussion of the question of providing accommodation for art classes, the top floor of Dalgety's building was suggested, but a member promptly intcrposed, with an air of certain knowledge, tliat the premises would not be available, as they had been leased to tlie broadcasting authorities.
