Miss Jean Batten, the New Zealand airwoman, is planning a solo attempt on the Scott-Black record to Melbourne, using a robot pilot to relieve a considerable portion of the strain. The Daily Herald says that. Miss Batten is run down after the strain of her reeent flight. She is seriously ill and is suffering from a severe ehill. Her doctor has ordered eomplete rest. i
