NAPIER DEBT CASES

Judgment for plainffs by default was given by Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court at Napier yesterday moniing in the following civil actions: — 'Napier Hospital Board v. C. T. Luxon, £21 17/-, costs £4 3/6; H.B. Motor Co, Ltd. v. A. Simpkin, £1 5/6, costs 11/-; H.B. Rivers' Board v. D. T. Priest, 10/10, costs 9/-; same v. J. W. Simmonds, 14/8, costs 11/-; same v. J. Hemmingsen 10/10, costs 8/-; F. A. Broolc v. F. Smith £5, costs £1 5/6; R. J. Holder v. Charlie Kee, £6 13/6, costs £1 12/; J. T. Evans v. James Churton, £10 16/-, costs 15/-. On judgment summonds, W. Lawson was ordered to pay Mrs P. M. Frater £4 0/10 forthwith, in default four days' gaol; S. Hargreaves to pay P. G. Skews £5 15/-, in default seven days' gaol, the warrant to be suspended if tho defendant pays 10/- a week; M. Maroney to pay Beryl Stack £5 4/10, in default six days' gaol.
