NEW ZEALAND BRIDE MARRIED IN ENGLAND

HEWICK — SEAVILL The weddiug took place recently at Christ Church, Lancaster Gatet England, of Etliel, only daughter of the late Mr. Walter Seavill and Mrs. Seavill, of Waingaro, and Captain John Hewick, the Dorsetshire Regiment, elder son of Mr. Justice Hewick, and Mrs. Hewielc, of Swanage, Dorset. The ceremony was performcd by the Eev. J. W. de la P. Beresford-Pierse. The bride was given away by her brother, FlightLieutenant F. C. yeavill. Her wedding dress was of deep cream velvet, her veil of old lime'rick lace held by a wreath of miniature arum lilies, and she wore a necklace of old family pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. A bouquet of arum lilies was carried. The bridesmaid, Miss Gwen Hislop, of Dunedin, wore an ankle-length frock of pale blue. The two small flower girls carried mixed flower balls suspended from ribbon. The best man was Lieutenant-Colonel Webb, 8th Gurkha Regiment. The future residence of the young couple will be at Dorchester, Dorset. The bride 's inother, who eliose an enseinble of blaelc and pinlt wool lace, held a reception at Berkeley Court, Hotel, Lancaster Gate.
