CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Mr. R. J. Estail has been appointed one o£ three judges for tlie centenary band contest in Sydney next montli. Mr. Estell will be the sole judge at the Newcastle band contest for the Australian championship. This is the first time a New Zealander has been appointed to the position. He is conductor of the Woolston Band, which has won many New Zealand championships ,
