Producers and Distributors to Confer

WELLINGTON. Last Night. Arrangements for a consultation between the producers and distributors of onions early in the New Year have been made by the Department of Agriculture, according to a statement issued tliis morning by the Minister of Agriture, tlie Hon. W. Lee Martin. The Minister added tliat the present regulations conceming the marketing or onions had only been arrived at after careful consultation, and, before any modi/ications wero made, the industry vrould be consulted in order tliat ils views might be giveu' due consideratiou.
