Weber Meeting

At this month 's meeting of tho Weber Institate there was. a fair attendance of members. Mrs Franklin presided. The main busine«e discussed was the children 's fancy dress dance, which was held last evening. Following a dainty afternoon tea served by Mrs Reisima end Mrs Alloway, Mrs R. Hales judged the Christmas ■ cakes, and demonstrated cakeicing on the winning cake. Her demonstration was most interesting and helpful. She was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and was presented with a dainty shoulder spray: The winners of the competitions. Christmas cake and sweet peas, were Mrs Franklin and Mrs McLean respeetively. Members were remlnded of the garden party to be held at Mrs C. Franklin 's home on February 5, 1938. The president extended to all members the season's greetings, and the meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
