Sir^— On December 14, 1914, three troopships — Willochra, .Yerdala and Knight of. the Garter — steamed out of Wellington Harbour at da.wn. These transports bore the Second EeinforCements, about 2000 men; on .the first stage of their long journey. This contiugenf reached Egypt in Januar.y 1915 and was merged into the Main Body. Its identity immediately ceased.. Through the courtesy of the National Broadcasting Seiwice, Iwo senior officers — Colonel A. B. Chatters, C.M.G.; D.S.O., and Colonel D. Colquhoun, D.S.O. — will speak from 2YA on Tuesday, December 14; the 23rd anniversary -oi sailing, and it is hoped that all surviving Second Eeinforcements will hear the.message, The Main Body has held two suecessfiul- reunions in .Wellington, and the time has arrived when the representatives of .the only other contingent to leave in 1914 shouid be organised for a simiiar purpose. In order to compile a nominal roll with a view to holding a reunion next year, the undersigned will be glad to hear from all Second Eeinforcements who see this letter and hear the broad"cast. — Yours. etc..
