MR. LYSNAR AGAIN

-Presi Atsocin'.ion.)

♦ - Intends to Stand for Poverty Bay Seat . NATIONALISTS' PROBLEM .

(By Tel«graph-

WELj — .GTON, This Day. Althongh the Parlianientary elections are almost 12 nionths away, interest is beginning to quieken in the Poverty. Bay constituency. The National Party and the Labour Party are both putting their houses in order for a start with the campaign on the hastings when the time arrives, but so far neither section has announced its candidate. Whatever happens, Mr'W. D. Lysnar will again go to tlie poll, and will pledgo nimself to Independent-National interesta. The Labour party will have a candidate in the field. It is considered likely that their nominee will be the present representative for the constituency, Mr D. W. Colenian. Several nanies have been nicntioned in National Party circles. It is understood that no selection of a candidate has been made yet, but that a meeting will be held within the next wqelc or two, when it is hoped to reach some finality. At present a certain amount of dissension exists in the Nationalist camp on the point of a representative. With Mr Lsynar in the field and a Labour candidate assured, a triangular contest seems possible unless the National Party members east aside party views and pledge themselves to throw in their lot ,jii the intere'sts of Mr Lysnar.
